2024 Mentor Hunt

Sioux Prairie PF's 2024 Youth Hunt was a resounding success.  Thanks to all of our patrons for supporting our youth programming in various ways!

This year we had 19 kids participate, with abundant birds int he field.  Six roosters cam home and lots of stories!  At least 1 youth got their first bird on Saturday.  Congratulations to all of the youth on handling themselves well during the event.  This is the 24th year that we have held this program.  Once again, this event would not be possible without the generous donations for our Sioux Prairie PF members and the myriad of volunteers that offer their time and support.

Pheasants Forever mentored pheasant hunts are the ideal way to introduce kids and teens to hunting, as experienced volunteer hunters from Pheasants Forever coach youth on the importance of firearm safety, wildlife habitat and hunting technique.

Every youth who attends our mentor hunt gets a free Ringneck PF membership courtesy of Sioux Prairie PF!
